Invest · Huertify
Huertify doesn't sell a growing machine: it sells a system that brings fresh vegetables to people who can't get them. A grower-hub in a village, the software that runs it almost by itself, and a simple way for neighbours — especially the elderly — and local councils to order and receive local produce. We're raising to install and measure the first hub. De-risk first, scale later.
It isn't a growing-technology problem — that already works — but one of getting fresh food where it doesn't reach, and making it easy.
In rural Spain shops close and the elderly are left without real fresh vegetables. 53% of municipalities have fewer than 500 inhabitants. That's where Huertify makes most sense — not in an urban warehouse.
The value isn't the growing box but the software that runs it almost by itself and a simple distribution: an elderly person or a council orders and receives local produce with no friction and no learning curve.
Vertical farming's big failures scaled before proving the numbers. We do the opposite: low-capex, distributed, crops that actually pay, and everything measured before growing.
We're not another vertical farm. We're rural food infrastructure: a grower-hub in one village that produces and delivers to the villages around it.
Irrigation, nutrition, climate and stock are handled by the system. The Engineering Deck controls production, flags the harvest and lets you sell forward what isn't cut yet. Fewer hands, more predictability.
A buying channel designed for the elderly (order by phone, at the village point, or with help) and institutions (councils, care homes, schools): simple order, local delivery, no mandatory app.
Running the hub and the delivery creates local jobs for those who need them. It fits the social economy and employment aid, and makes Huertify a village service, not an outside supplier.
This builds a moat that's hard to copy: a hydroponics box can be replicated; the relationship with councils, the delivery network and local roots cannot. And it changes the economics: recurring local service + possible public contracts + grants, instead of competing to sell cheaper lettuce.
Each phase unlocks the next with data, not promises.
Install a hub in one village and its delivery network to the region. Launch the buying channel for the elderly and institutions. Proof of concept and showcase.
De-riskWater, energy, yield and delivery cost measured, with published method — plus real adoption by the elderly and institutions. The numbers the sector demands.
Real dataWith the model and software proven, replicate region by region. Growth adds small hubs, not a megafactory.
ScaleIndicative split of the first round, focused on building and measuring the pilot. Round target: to be defined
Allocation of work, subject to the final round. Concrete financial figures are provided in the deck.
We're honest about the stage: prototype, pre-measurement. What we already have:
Per-unit water/energy/yield figures are project targets, not yet measured; they will be published with their method from the pilot onward. The 85–95% figure is a sector reference (FAO), not our own measurement.
